Carson,Rachel. The sea around us.Oxford University Press

When I read Silent Spring I realized unexpected relationships between ecological environment and us. Ms. Carson shed light on the unseen web of living things.
"No less than the water, the winds and the air currents play their part in bringing inhabitants to the islands."(p.90)
Compared to Silent Spring and The sense of wonder, The sea around us is not famous. But this book also taught me various connections in the nature.
The sea is so far away that it could't seem familiar to me. This book shortened the psychological distance from it.
