Lindbergh,Anne Morrow.Gift from the sea.Pantheon books.

I thought Gift from the sea praises the beauty, vastness, tenderness,or something like that. I have finished reading a copy of it and think the center of this book is the author.
"Patience, patience, patience, is what the sea teaches."(p.11)
Indeed, the sea gives us something, but not anything. If you aren't prepared or qualified you won't get it.
"what is actual is actual only for one time and only for one place."(p.68)
Then and there the sea gave Ms. Lindbergh what she must be given.
"One cannot collect all the beautiful shells on the beach."(p.106)
As far as I'm concerned, what will be the gift from the sea?
